Nothing. Joining is free, bidding is free, and there are no paid credits or memberships. SmartCodeDev doesn't deduct any commission from what you're paid.
Exactly what you bid, or the amount we agree with you for an assigned private project. That's the amount we send to you once the work is delivered.
Clients pay a 10% SmartCodeDev fee (minimum $15 per project) on top of your bid. For example, if you bid $1,000, the client pays $1,100 and you receive the full $1,000. The fee is paid by the client, never taken from your earnings.
Connect a Stripe payout account once in the Freelancer Portal. The client pays SmartCodeDev before work starts, and we release your payment as soon as the work is delivered. If your bank account is in a currency other than USD, standard currency conversion by Stripe or your bank may apply.
Skilled professionals from anywhere Stripe payouts are available. We review every application for experience and quality, usually within 3 business days.
No. All client communication goes through SmartCodeDev. We handle the client relationship, the scope and the payment, so you can focus on the work. Profiles and bids that include contact details are blocked, and working directly with SmartCodeDev clients outside the platform isn't allowed.
It gives every freelancer a real chance of winning, and gives clients a focused shortlist. Bid early, because once 3 bids are in, the project closes to new bids.
